So, this is my "sweet" doll that got put aside, the day I was to start her, for Miss Emerald Forest to be born. No matter though, she came out just the way she was supposed to. She was actually very simple. Her bodice was made out of sprinkles and the skirt is all dot candy - remember dot candy? Little sweets you peel off of the paper. I think we ate a lot of paper....LOL! The bodice is very simple on this early adolescent doll. It is simply just wrapped around her and stitched tightly. I then added the ribbon around the neck. The underskirt is many layers of aqua blue tulle with the skirt draped over it. I then stitched it to the bodice all the way around and tightened it with the same ribbon from the neckline. Notice all of the candy buttons sewn to the bodice and the skirt to give her that yummy sweet look. OH OH and OH.....check out those m&m earrings I put in after I fastened her hair back with a French braid across the top and ribbon. The final touch is the lollipop in her hand!
