A friend of mine for 30 years, Jenny, has two adorable daughters. She wanted to do something unique for their Valentines Day. She asked me if I could make them each a doll. We;;, OF COURSE! Her oldest, Olivia, has a thing for pineapples and the little one, Juliana, likes strawberries. Juliana's was easy because I already had a strawberry cutey that I would be willing to give up. You can see that one on my blog also. For Olivia's, I immediately went on the hunt for pineapple material. I needed it quick so I had to settle on what I could find. I do like the material though. I started with a simple strapless bodice, and then aterm added a ring around her neck and attached it to the bodice with a flower. The dress was simple - just gathers, attached and finalized with a yellow back bow and a few flowers on the side waist.
Her hair was much too pretty to put up, so I did , somewhat of a, sidedo! I brushed it out and pulled it to the side and attached a wooden pineapple to it to hold it in place. The earrings are super cute. I found stick pins on Amazon in all kinds of fruits and veggies. This turned out to be super cute!
