Coral Magic

I tried my hand with a few different things here. First of all, I found this beautiful fashion doll. The face is stunning and her hair is just beautiful. She has a whole different body than the Barbie Doll. You can see such definition in the legs. I immediately knew I had to do a dress that would show of those legs. It is so difficult to even try to explain how this one was made but I will try.

I ordered the coral chemise fabric and the appliqued tulle with coral colors. I wasn't to sure what I wanted to do other than a slit so I just started with the bodice. There is a piece of tulle around her neck and I attached the appliqued tulle to give her a sexy look to the bodice. I experimented with somewhat of a coat look and what I came up with is what you see, I hadn't done long sleeves yet but this type of dress seemed to warrant it.

The skirt is very basic and folds over to show her legs. I then attached a piece of the appliqued tulle to that back. This gives her somewhat of a train. Once I finished the shirt part, I went back to the bodice to attach the jewels to the neckline and arm area. I then gave her earrings with the same jewels and then pulled her hair back with a tulle headband and a flower.
