This sweet peachy girl was my second attempt. I have not always been extremely happy with her, but one day, when I decide just what it is that needs to be adjusted, I will. For now, she is displayed alongside Dream A Dream For Me as part of the wedding party. This was an attempt about a month after my daughter's death. That could very well be the reason I cannot be pleased with her. All of the materials used her are imported from India. Man, they took a while to get here. I had ordered them when I was finishing up the first one. It took me a bit to pick back up the needle. I may have forgotten to mention that none of my dresses are made using a sewing machine. EVERYTHING is hand stitched. I decided that I would honor my daughter by continuing this craft, as she loved my dolls so much. This time around, I created the skirt first using layers of tulle as the underskirt with just the one layer of the appliqued top skirt. Along the top skirt is a 1.5 inch tulle ruffle with stars on it. That ruffle tulle was also used on her bodice, for a back bow and in her hair (which I will talk more about hair later). She also has a belt made out of Natural Moonstone Beads.

This is great!
